PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Swashchucklers Comedy Pirate Show is entertaining fairgoers with sword fights, stunts, and plenty of humor. The family-friendly performance blends action and comedy, keeping crowds engaged from start to finish.

These pirates may not be sailing the high seas, but they’re keeping fair-goers entertained with plenty of stunts, sword fights and lots of laughs.

The show stars JD Posey, Ed Landwehr and Russell Reeps, a trio of comedic pirates who blend witty banter with slapstick fun.

“Arrrrrggggg! It’s a pirate parody of preposterous proportions,” Posey said.

“No, no, no, no, it’s a looney lampoon of buccaneer buffoonery,” Landwehr replied, as the two playfully argued over how to describe their act.

Reeps encouraged visitors to “sail on over” to catch the show, which takes place just south of Reaves Arena, across from the horse barn.

The Swashchucklers perform daily at 1:30, 3:30, 5:30, and 7:30 p.m. during the fair.

Their goal, the group says, is simple, to keep families laughing and create lasting memories at the Georgia National Fair. The Georgia National Fair runs through October 12 at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry. You can purchase tickets here.
