Northeast Raiders Battle It Out Against Dublin Looking To Remain Undefeated

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – On Thursday night at Thompson Stadium, the Northeast Raiders continued their high-powered offense, and their stellar defensive play with a shutout region win over the Dublin Fighting Irish.

After losing at The Shamrock Bowl last season, the Raiders got their revenge. The Raiders didn’t score an offensive touchdown against the Irish in 2024. However, they scored three touchdowns, including two passing TDs from Freshman QB Jordan Wiggins, Thursday night, to earn a victory, and remain perfect at 5-0 now in region play.

The Raiders have now scored at least 20 points in every game this season, and this is the fourth straight shutout victory. The Northeast defense has only allowed eight region points in five games, with the last four matchups all being shutout wins.

Northeast heads to Cochran to face the Royals, while Dublin returns to Macon to face ACE, both next Friday.
