Hollywood Minute: K-pop Demon Hunters soundtrack makes Billboard history
The world of entertainment is celebrating two major milestones this week

(CNN)- Netflix’s “K-Pop Demon Hunters” soundtrack has made history, with four songs simultaneously landing in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10. It marks the first time any soundtrack album has achieved such a feat. The album itself currently sits at number two on the Billboard 200, and with a physical CD release now boosting sales, it may soon climb to the top spot.
Meanwhile, breakout talent Everett Blunck takes center stage in the indie film “Griffin in Summer.” The 14-year-old actor portrays a precocious playwright whose life is upended by an unexpected friendship with a handyman and performance artist. The coming-of-age drama, which earned top honors at the Tribeca Festival, opens in theaters Friday, August 29.
