FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –A new distribution center is coming to Monroe County.

The company Stellantis plans to invest more than $41 million to build a new 422,000 square-foot Mopar Parts Distribution Center in Forsyth.

The facility is expected to support around 90 UAW-represented jobs.

According to Stellantis, the new facility will enhance its U.S. parts distribution network, providing dealers and customers of its brands in the Southeast with faster and more efficient service.

Mopar is Stellantis’s global brand for service, parts, and customer care. It has a long history of providing parts and accessories for vehicles like Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Alfa Romeo, and FIAT.

The facility will include a 16,000-square-foot AutoStore system that uses 66 robots to pick parts from a grid of bins and bring them to stations where employees get shipments ready.
