Perry Police Identify Body Found in Vacant Home

Perry Police have identified the body found in Perry Thursday afternoon as 32-year-old Tosheka Richards.

Capt. Heath Dykes says the result of the autopsy shows no sign of foul play. He says the victim was likely dead for about 48 hours before she was found.

A real estate worker checking on the vacant home called police around 11 a.m. yesterday to report the death. Dykes says Richards, who was a long-time resident of Perry, was homeless and had a history of mental illness.
