(CNN)- Prince fans will get a chance to experience the superstar’s iconic 1987 concert film, Prince: Sign o’ the Times, like never before. The self-directed movie has been digitally remastered and is set to be re-released in IMAX theaters for one week, beginning Friday, August 29. Meanwhile, Paramount had announced in April that Dexter: Original Sin would be renewed for a second season. Now, according to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, the prequel series will not move forward. The studio is instead planning to extend the follow-up series, Dexter: Resurrection, which will conclude its first season with a finale set for September 5.
In theaters now, Max Martini stars as a disgraced investigator searching for his daughter in the period action film Hollywood Grit. The movie also features Tyrese Gibson and Patrick Duffy and is playing in limited release.
