Macon Magazine, NewTown Macon to host Macon Restaurant Week

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) —Macon Magazine and NewTown Macon are partnering to launch the city’s first Macon Restaurant Week.

The event is scheduled for September 12-20 in downtown Macon and is themed “Fall into Flavor.” The weeklong celebration will feature exclusive specials from 17 locally owned restaurants, with price points including $10 Steals, $20 Deals, $30 Meals and $50 Feasts.

Restaurants will also compete for two titles: People’s Choice and the winner of the 478 Date Night Challenge, which highlights dining experiences for two priced at $47.80.

Participating restaurants include Braddock’s Cask & Table, Cashman’s Pub, Dovetail, H&H Soul Food, Kudzu Seafood Company, Longleaf Distilling Co., Loom at Hotel Forty Five, Macon Bagels, Ocmulgee Brewpub, Shuster’s Candy & Creamery, Sweet Eleanor’s Divine Desserts, Taste and See Coffee Shop & Gallery, and The Brick.

In addition to specialty menus, diners will be able to vote for their favorite dishes to determine the People’s Choice winner. Guests can also take part in the Restaurant Week Passport, which includes all participating restaurants. Completed passports will be entered to win prizes, including a $500 gift card to the winner’s choice of a downtown restaurant.
