Macon Pride announces week of community events for Pride Week 2025
DeMarcus Beckham, Macon Pride co-founder and special events chair, said the events are open to everyone in the community.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Pride will host a weeklong series of events this fall to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and allies, beginning with its kickoff event on August 29. The opening celebration, Chosen Family Feud, will take place at 6 p.m. at Emerson at Plum.
The festivities will continue September 25 with a beer release and karaoke night at 5:30 p.m. in Third Street Park. On September 26, The Capitol Theatre will host the Haus Party Drag Show at 9 p.m.
The highlight of the week, Pride in the Park, will be held September 27 at noon in Third Street Park, followed by an afterparty at 9 p.m. at JBA Macon.
The celebration will close September 28 with a Worship and Family Picnic at 4 p.m. at Coleman Hill.
