20-year-old killed in high-speed motorcycle crash on I-75 in Peach County

PEACH COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 20-year-old man died Wednesday morning after his motorcycle collided with a utility trailer on I-75 northbound, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Troopers responded at 7:55 a.m. to the scene near mile marker 143. The preliminary investigation found that a black Yamaha YZ600 was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck the rear of a utility trailer being towed by a 2015 Dodge Ram 3500 in the center lane.
The impact threw the motorcycle driver, identified as 20-year-old Ryan Allan Boyd, into the grass median on the southbound side of the interstate. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
