Dublin VA hosting Red Cross blood drive on Friday
The blood drive is an opportunity to save lives and avenue to meet people in the community.

DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center is hosting a Red Cross blood drive at the medical center.
Michael Catoe, Center for Development and Civic Engagement (CDCE) and Coordinator for the Event said this blood drive is a great avenue to serve the community while getting to know them.
“It’s just a good connections between us and the community for like resources that we offer to help make that connection,” said Catoe.
The blood drive is Friday, August 15m from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in its auditorium.
Walk-ins are welcome but prospective donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment at www.RedCrossBlood.org using sponsor code “cvh” or by calling 1-800 RED CROSS.
Donors can streamline their donation experience by completing necessary forms beforehand at www.RedCrossBlood.org/rapidpass.com
The blood drive is open to the public.
