(CNN)- Country icon Dolly Parton kicks off a star-studded announcement: Stand Up To Cancer is headed to Music City.
This year’s televised fundraiser will be hosted by Sheryl Crow and feature appearances by Reese Witherspoon, Tim McGraw, and more. The special airs Friday, August 15th, across more than 30 broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms, uniting celebrities and viewers in the fight against cancer.
Also debuting this week: a poignant new music documentary. It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley explores the life and legacy of the late singer-songwriter, best known for his hauntingly beautiful debut album Grace. Buckley drowned at the age of 30, leaving behind a legacy cut short. The film includes never-before-seen footage and personal interviews, and opens in theaters Friday, August 8th.
In gaming news — get ready to morph! The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers have officially landed in Fortnite. They join forces with Spartan soldiers from the Halo universe in the new season titled Shock ‘N Awesome. The battle royale update is live today, August 7th.
