Middle Georgia ‘REACT’ Helps Sheriff’s Office with Late Night Patrol
There’s a group of citizens in middle Georgia, that’s helping make the streets a little safer. You might call them Bibb County’s ‘guardian angels’.
“I rolled in on a scene with them watching it, and it was a good thing knowing they were watching my back,” says Sheriff Jerry Modena, Bibb County.
They’re not deputies, and they’re not police officers. “We’ll do whatever they need us to do,” says Wayne Watson. He’s part of a group of patrol men and women who volunteer with the radio emergency associated communication team.
