Back-to-school giveaway in Macon returns for 7th year

Free supplies and family fun planned for August 2 event

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Local families can gear up for the new school year with a back-to-school giveaway scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event will be held at 3654 Eisenhower Parkway in Macon.

The giveaway is presented by The Law Office of Mahdi Abdur-Rahman, LLC in partnership with Grid Chiropractic. According to the event flyer, this marks the 7th annual back-to-school giveaway, continuing a tradition of supporting students and families in the Middle Georgia area.

The event will offer free school supplies and community resources to help students prepare for the upcoming school year. Organizers encourage families to come early and bring the whole family for an afternoon of support and celebration.

The giveaway is made possible through the support of several other community sponsors, including Cricket Wireless, Varsity Club, Hope Neurological & Medical Services, and Phoenix Ortho Injury Spine & Extremity.
