Showers & Storms (Strong/Severe)
TORNADO WATCH UNTIL 11PM
If you have a NOAA Weather Radio, make sure to have it on this evening and during the overnight hours. As we were expecting, showers and storms are charging towards Middle Georgia this evening and packing quite a punch. Look for heavy rainfall, strong winds, pockets of small hail and an isolated tornado to possibly develop out of the stronger storms that develop. If you’re hitting the roads tonight, exercise extreme caution while driving, and should you get stuck in a stronger storm, pull over to a safe location. Otherwise, I’m forecasting temperatures to drop into the upper 50s overnight. As you’re waking up tomorrow morning, isolated raindrops may still be dancing around your backyard. Friday afternoon should feature upper 60s & low 70s with a mix of sun and clouds.
