FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Forsyth Police have arrested a Macon man in connection with a series of lottery ticket thefts reported at multiple gas stations earlier this month.
Investigators say Christian Scott Blackmon is accused of visiting four locations on July 12 and 13—two on Tift College Drive, including a Marathon and a Chevron, along with gas stations on North Lee Street and Cabiness Avenue.
At each location, Blackmon allegedly played the Georgia Lottery’s Cash Pop game and left without paying, resulting in nearly $1,000 in stolen tickets.
A joint investigation between Forsyth Police and the Georgia Lottery Commission led to Blackmon’s arrest. He now faces four counts of attempted theft by taking and four counts of lottery fraud.
