Battle Trust Fund

Family members have set up a trust fund for a deceased couples surviving daughter. A fatal accident on I-75 in Monroe County Tuesday took the lives of Julious and Laverne Battle- the parents of 13-year-old Lashayla. The teenager was in the car when the vehicle collided with a tractor trailer as it was merging onto the highway. Lashayla was the only survivor in the car.

If you would like to donate to the fund for Lashayla Battle you can go to the Monroe County Bank in Forsyth or Bolingbroke and tell a representative you’d like to add money to the “Battle Trust Fund.”
