Television production returns to Macon with weekend filming and road closures
King Street Productions resumes filming, causing temporary street closures across multiple locations

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- A television show is continuing production this weekend in Macon-Bibb County, with filming scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, July 26 and 27. The shoot will bring intermittent road closures to multiple areas as King Street Productions moves between locations.
Visit Macon Senior Vice President and COO Aaron Buzza said the return of a production crew reinforces the county’s status as a desirable location for film and television. “We continue to be recognized as a prime location for filming, and that’s more than just our scenery,” Buzza said. “It’s about how welcoming people are here to visitors.”
Macon-Bibb has served as a backdrop for numerous movies and television shows, including 42, I, Tonya, Zombieland: Double Tap, Lovecraft Country, and Watchmen. The continued interest by production companies highlights the area’s growing profile in the film industry.
