Monster truck wheel crashes into parking lot during stunt show

Organizers say multiple vehicles were damaged at the event

(CNN)- A high-flying monster truck stunt took an unexpected turn when a wheel flew off one of the trucks and landed in a parking lot, damaging multiple vehicles during a live show in Washington state.

The incident was captured on video at a monster truck event in Bremerton, where spectators were watching an aerial stunt. As one of the trucks landed, a large wheel broke loose and launched over the arena wall. Organizers confirmed that the wheel struck several parked vehicles, including at least one that appeared to be crushed.

An image posted on Facebook showed the aftermath of the impact. No injuries were reported.

In a statement, event organizers said they are taking steps to reduce the risk of future incidents and emphasized their commitment to safety, saying, “We will always do everything we can to help further the safety of this great sport we all love.”
