Macon Police Arrest Two After Jim Shaw’s Seafood Armed Robbery

Macon police arrested two men after they robbed Jim Shaw’s Seafood Restaurant Saturday evening.

The two men, 18 year-old Tavoris D. Thomas, and 20 year-old Michael J. Edmonds entered the restaurant just before 11:00 p.m.

The men were armed and demanded cash.

After they took the money, Thomas and Edmonds ran into the Freedom Park area. Police were able to track the men down, thanks to employees and patrons who witnessed the robbery.

Both men were found in the Freedom Park area and taken to the Bibb County L.E.C.

Thomas had one previous arrest in Bibb County, Edmonds had 10.
