(CNN)- Netflix has announced that “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery” will have its international debut at the BFI London Film Festival on October 8th. The third installment in Rian Johnson’s Knives Out franchise once again stars Daniel Craig as the sharply observant detective Benoit Blanc. Following the festival premiere, the film will begin streaming on Netflix December 12th.
Meanwhile, a cinematic classic is returning to theaters. The iconic 1975 drama “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” which swept the Academy Awards with wins for Best Picture, Director, Actor, Actress, and Adapted Screenplay, is being re-released in honor of its 50th anniversary. Fans can catch it on the big screen for two special nights — Sunday, July 13th, and Wednesday, July 16th. Tickets and details are available at FathomEvents.com.
Actor John Malkovich takes on a new language and a heartfelt role in “Mister Blake, At Your Service.” The film features Malkovich as a widowed British businessman who takes a job in a French countryside manor, honoring the memory of his late French wife. Spoken largely in French with English subtitles, the film is currently in limited release and will expand to more markets throughout July. It will be available on digital platforms starting August 5th.
