Annual “Shop With A Cop” Brings Nearly 100 Children Christmas Early

Christmas came early tonight for nearly 100 hundred children in Macon.

The Fraternal Order of Police’s annual “Shop with a Cop” event brought dozens of officers out to Walmart on Harrison Road. They escorted children up and down the aisles, as they grabbed toys and checked them off their Christmas lists.

“We’re not just here to chase the bad guys, we’re here to serve the community,” says Private James Litton.
