Hundreds Say Goodbye to Former State Senator Robert Brown
Hundreds said goodbye to former State Senator Robert Brown. Brown took his life on December 8th.
It was a showering of respect for a man known to many as a passionate leader who always stood up for what he believed in.
Leaders from across the state joined in on the celebration of his life. Civil Rights Activist, Joseph Lowery, spoke of Brown’s intensity, intelligence, and integrity.
“He saw the need for justice, and we’re going to miss him,” says Lowery.
Busloads of friends showed up at the Greater Zion Hill Baptist Church in Macon to pay their respects.
