Second suspect charged with murder in Dublin shooting
A 16-year-old and 17-year-old have been charged with murder after Anthony Jamar Coley was fatally shot in Dublin, Georgia. The investigation remains active.

UPDATE (5/1/2025): The Dublin Police Department say 17-year-old Jacari Antonio Page turned himself in to authorities on April 30. Page has been charged and arrested for felony murder and armed robbery.

DUBLIN, Georgia- (41NBC/WMGT) — A 16-year-old suspect has been charged with felony murder and armed robbery in connection with the shooting death of 27-year-old Anthony Jamar Coley in Dublin early Tuesday morning.
According to Dublin Police, officers responded around 2 a.m. to the 500 block of Rutland Drive after the city’s shot detection system alerted police to gunfire. When officers arrived, they discovered Coley in the backyard of 511 Rutland Drive with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Fairview Park Hospital, where he later died.
The suspect, identified as Dontavis Terrell Lovett, was arrested and charged with felony murder and armed robbery.
The Dublin Police Department Criminal Investigation Unit and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are jointly investigating the case.
