Two arrested after traffic stop on Mercer University Drive
A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a Toyota Camry on April 22 after noticing the occupants attempting to hide from view while making a turn, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two people were arrested following a traffic stop on Mercer University Drive on Tuesday, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a Toyota Camry on April 22 after noticing the occupants attempting to hide from view while making a turn, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
The Camry was displaying a tag registered to a Hyundai, and the driver’s license had been expired for seven years.
Deputies said the female passenger had an active warrant in Santa Rosa County, Florida. The male passenger allegedly refused to cooperate and attempted to flee on foot but was quickly taken into custody. He was wanted on multiple arrest warrants.
The female passenger was identified as Sabrina Dawn Proctor. The male passenger was identified as Brandon David Williams. He is charged with obstruction of an officer, giving a false name to a law enforcement officer, and probation violation. He was also wanted in Putney County.
