Centerville Sanitation Worker Struck by Vehicle, Loses Leg

A Centerville sanitation worker lost his leg after a car struck the back of the truck he was working on.

It happened north of Houston Lake Blvd. early this morning. Both the driver and the worker were taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia, and are in stable condition.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the incident. So far no charges have been filed.
