Pay Study Findings Presented at Warner Robins Pre-Council

A study that could revamp the pay scale for city employees in Warner Robins was presented at a Pre-Council meeting tonight.

The Carl Vinson Institute was commissioned by city government to conduct the study in June 2010. When the findings were presented at the end of that year, the mayor and council asked researchers to make the pay scale competitive without such extensive pay increases.

The six different recommendations did cut the cost of the salaries initially presented, while keeping them competitive in comparison to similar communities.
