Academy Sports Donates Bikes to Students

Christmas came early on Friday for some students at Bibb County’s Heard Elementary school.

Academy Sports surprised 25 lucky kids with new set of wheels.

The students were selected based on perfect attendance, excellent grades, and good leadership.

The goal of the giveaway is to help encourage students to build positive characters.

This was the 10th year Academy Sports donated bikes to local schools. Academy Sports will give away $200,000 dollars in youth bikes and helmets this year.
