Milledgeville Celebrates 53rd Annual Mayor’s Motorcade?

Smiles filled Central State Hospital today as the 53rd Annual Mayors Motorcade made it’s way through Milledgeville. If you love music, floats, and motorcycles you would have had a great time at the 53rd Annual Mayor’s Motorcade. Every year mayors across the state take part in the parade and other festivities to help bring christmas to patients at Central State hospital. baldwin high school band director clint rayburn says this parade is very important to the city of milledgeville.

“What I tell my students is this might be the only Christmas that some of the clients get to be apart of and we like to bring the Christmas spirit to them”, said Clint Rayburn.

All of the events today were free and open to the public.
