Robert Brown Remembered

Robert Brown was a man of many accomplishments from politics and beyond.  The Macon native was first elected to State Senate District 26 in a special election in August 1991.  The long time democrat served as Majority Leader and in 2005 when Republicans took over he became Senate Minority Leader.

Brown served on many committees including the economic development, ethics, and veterans and military affairs.  Brown also served on the Bibb County Board of Education.
