Milledgeville police search for suspect involved in series of incidents, community asked for help
Milledgeville PD is asking all residents to make sure their vehicles are locked and valuables secure.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Milledgeville Police Department is asking the community for help in identifying a man believed to be involved in a series of incidents throughout the city, according to a news release.
Milledgeville PD posted a video on social media and said that patrol units are searching the Carrington Woods area for a male suspect on April 1.
Around 5 a.m., units were dispatched to Glenhaven Drive after reports of a man running through yards. Officers searched the area but did not make contact with the male suspect.
Around 10 a.m., officers responded to Dunlap Road and Pebbleridge Road after reports of a male subject jumping from a vehicle. Officers discovered that the vehicle belonged to a resident of Glenhaven Drive, where they had been looking for the subject earlier.
The owner of the vehicle said she was unaware anyone was in her car until she stopped, and the man jumped out from the back seat and fled on foot.
Around 4 p.m., officers were sent to Timberlane Road for a report of an entering auto. During the investigation, they found a pink towel and pants that the subject had been wearing earlier. The male suspect is believed to be wearing red gym shorts, with no shoes and no shirt.
