Macon man faces charges after attacking woman on Thomaston Road

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was arrested for aggravated assault after attacking a woman, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The aggravated assault occurred March 18 off Thomaston Road.

According to a news release, deputies responded to a domestic violence call and took a suspect into custody.

The Sheriff’s Office said the suspect attempted to kick in the door of a residence. Once inside, he began hitting and punching a woman repeatedly.

The man was arrested and taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center. The suspect has been identified as Jarrard Larunta Davis.

Davis faces charges of aggravated assault-family violence, false imprisonment, and criminal trespass.
