Council Criticizes Spending of Confiscated Money by MPD

Macon City Council members are criticizing the Police department for the way they’re spending confiscated money.

Monday night, Macon Police Chief Mike Burns briefed the appropriations committee on the departments’ use of the funds over the last year.

Committee members questioned spending $10-thousand on two trips to the International Chiefs of Police Conference.
