CNN – Seth Rogen is stepping into the high-stakes world of Hollywood power players in Apple TV+’s upcoming comedy series, The Studio. The show, which Rogen also executive produces, follows his character as he attempts to balance prestige filmmaking with box office success—a feat many say is nearly impossible.
“Prestige films and box office hits: those are not mutually exclusive. We can do both, and we will do both,” declares Rogen’s character in the newly released trailer, setting the stage for the satirical series.
The 10-episode comedy premieres on March 26, with the first two episodes dropping on Apple TV+.
Hollywood is preparing to celebrate one of its most beloved actresses. Michelle Pfeiffer will be honored with a handprint and footprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre on April 25 as part of this year’s TCM Classic Film Festival. The festival will also showcase Pfeiffer’s 1989 film The Fabulous Baker Boys, the role that earned her an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe win.
