The Salvation Army Helps Donate Thanksgiving Baskets To More Than 300 Families
The Salvation Army is preparing for a big day tomorrow. More than 300 families will receive a thanksgiving basket this year. The baskets include turkey, ham, and other thanksgiving treats.
“The food has been donated through the churches, agencies, schools. They all come to help us provide thanksgiving boxes to the communities this year”, said Social Service Director Naomi Ladson.
The Salvation Army on Broadway Street in Macon will be serving Thanksgiving dinner to the community from 11am-2pm.
