Warner Robins holds annual council planning retreat

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The City of Warner Robins held its annual 2025 Council Planning Retreat to discuss city goals, initiatives and future direction.

Mayor LaRhonda Patrick, senior staff members and the City Council participated in the retreat to explore ways to improve the city. The group focused on seven key areas, including “mobility and connectivity” and “economic vitality.”

City Administrator James Drinkard said the discussions around economic vitality centered on creating a community that remains economically active while ensuring growth benefits all residents.

The retreat mainly covered potential projects to be included in the fiscal year 2026 budget, which runs from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026.
