Warner Robins High School Students Donate Hair For Good Cause
Warner Robins High School hosted its 9th annual locks of love event today. Several students donated their hair to the non profit organization that creates high quality hair prosthetics for kids in need. Locks of Love provides hair-pieces to financially disadvantaged children, under the age 18, who suffer from hair loss caused by Disease.
” This isn’t the first time I cut my hair it’s actually the fourth and after the first time I did it, I just thought it was a great way to give something back, because I’m not doing anything with my hair, so it has become a tradition that every 3 years I cut my hair, ” said Alyssa Gisseman.
Locks of Love hopes the donated hair will restore self -esteem and confidence.
