Mount De Sales Wins GIAA AAA/AAAA District 6 Championship

The Cavaliers pull off back to back nights of upsets to take the District Title 55-54 over the Eagles

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – At Windsor Academy in Macon Friday night, the 17-10 Mount De Sales upset the 20-7 Stratford Eagles 55-54 to capture the GIAA AAA/AAAA District 6 Championship.

Abner Livingston made the 12-foot game winning jump shot with just two seconds left in regulation to take the lead by one point.

Mount De Sales finished the regular season in fourth place with 4-6 record in the district, but still won the District Title, to spoil the Eagles hopes of back-to-back district championships.
