ESPLOST Passes In Houston County

Houston County voters decided to continue the ESPLOST for another five years. 72% voted in favor of the penny tax for the fourth time since 1997.

As the votes were tallied, Superintendent Dr. Robin Hines, remained confident that Houston County would continue to support the school system with the 1% tax.
