City of Dublin Re-Elects Mayor Phil Best

Incumbent Phil Best, who’s been mayor since 1999, wins by a landslide. Best received with 72% of the votes. His opponent Johnny Vaughn received 28%.

Tonight, Best was surrounded by supporters and his family as he graciously accepted victory.

This will be his fourth term in office. Best says he is honored to have gained so much support over the last 12 years.

He plans to continue to help the City of Dublin create a “pro business” attitude in hopes of bring more jobs and industry to the area.
