Macon DA seeks witness in double homicide, offers reward for information

The DA's office says when violent crimes go unsolved due to lack of witness cooperation, it emboldens criminals and puts all our neighbors at risk.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office is seeking the community’s help in locating a crucial witness in an ongoing double homicide investigation, according to a news release.

The DA’s office is looking for 21-year-old Joshua Cason. According to the Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office, Cason’s testimony is needed to bring justice to the victims’ families and the community, as well as maintaining public safety.

The DA’s office says when violent crimes go unsolved due to lack of witness cooperation, it emboldens criminals and puts all our neighbors at risk.

A $500 reward is being offered to the first person who can give the current location of Cason.
