Dublin City Council Incumbents Sweep Elections

3 council members up for re-elections in Dublin will continue to serve residents. 

In the race for City Council Ward 1 Dublin’s longest serving council member, Julie Driger, wins with 65% of the votes. Her opponent Janice Stewart received 35%

Driger says she is humbled by the support she has received over the last two decades in office, and looks forward to serving again.

In the race for Ward 2, David Edmonds got 31% of the votes. Incumbent Gary Johnson wins with 69% of the votes. This will be the 6th time voters have elected Johnson.

In the race for Ward 3, Incumbent Ed Touchberry wins with 62% of the votes beating out former city council member J.W Scarboro.
