Dozens of Vets Celebrate at Macon Memorial Park

Dozens of Veterans and active duty military personnel celebrated Veterans Day at the Macon Memorial Park.

Korean War Vet and prisoner of War, William Freeman, gave a special Veterans day address. Freeman says he has been honored to have served in 4 wars.

“I love all the people that are in the service Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force it don’t matter. They’re all my brothers and sisters, and they’re helping to protect me now like I helped protect them,” says Freeman.

During Today’s ceremony each branch of the military received a special standing ovation.

Desert Storm Vet, Mark Campbell, says,” This is our way of showing these guys how much we appreciate them.”
