Macon Crowds Line Up to Be First to Buy iPhone 4S

People were lined up before 7 am this morning at the AT&T store in North Macon. They wanted to be the first to get their hands on the iPhone 4S. It’s the 5th generation in Apple’s smart phone family.

“It’s the latest and greatest on the market. Speed is everything,” says store manager, Kira Henderson.

It’s the need for speed that kept people waiting hours. Macon resident, Dave Jones, says it was worth the wait. He’s been using the original iPhone for years.

“I still have a first gen. I’m ready for a new one.”
