Appropriations Committee Passes Prepaid Wireless Fee

If you purchase prepaid wireless minutes in Macon or Bibb County, a new fee is headed your way.

Monday afternoon Macon City Council’s Appropriations Committee voted to adopt a 911 charge of 75 cents for every prepaid wireless purchase.
