Toddler Found Dead after Being Left Alone in Bathtub

A toddler from Bonaire has died after being left alone in a bathtub.

2-year-old Nellie Fox was pronounced dead Monday afternoon at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says the little girl’s mother had left her in the bathtub for a few minutes when she found the girl facedown in the water.

Capt. Randall Banks of the Houston County Sheriff’s Office says the 2 year-old was in the tub with a sibling when the mother stepped away.
