‘Silence the Violence’ pledge to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy

The "Silence the Violence" Pledge to Honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Legacy is happening on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 12723 Broad Street in Sparta.

 

SPARTA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) —  O³C Organization is launching “Silence the Violence” Pledge to Honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Legacy on Sunday.

Community leaders and residents will come together to discuss actionable solutions to stop violence in Sparta and surrounding areas.

Speakers at the event will include  Mayor Allen Haywood, Chairman Adrick Ingram, Chief of Police Tommy Walker and Superintendent Dr. Anton Anthony.

These influential leaders will share their insights and strategies, along with community-focused solutions to combat violence and rebuild trust and unity within the community.

This event will take place on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 12723 Broad Street in Sparta.
