New Year’s Resolution Walk happening in Macon Saturday
Bike Walk Macon and and Walk with a Doc are partnering to host a slow-paced "New Year's Resolution Walk" around Amerson River Park Saturday.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bike Walk Macon and and Walk with a Doc are partnering to host a slow-paced “New Year’s Resolution Walk” around Amerson River Park Saturday.
The Executive Director of Bike Walk Macon, Rachel Umana, says they’re putting on the walk to help those who want a plan for carrying out health resolutions but aren’t quite sure how.
She says it also puts them together with other people with similar resolutions.
The New Year’s Resolution Walk will be held at Amerson River Park at The AGL Pavilion, right next to the playground.
Registration is at 8:45 a.m., and the walk begins at 9.
The event is free to attend, and it’s expected to last about an hour.
Once you have entered the park, take the second exit on the roundabout. That will lead you to the great lawn. Take the next right and you will see the pavilion on your left.
For anyone interested in taking steps toward a healthier lifestyle, Walk with a Doc is a walking program that meets every first Saturday.
