Man arrested for shooting woman in vehicle on Hartley Bridge Road in Macon, investigation underway

According to the press release, Eric Daniels, was arrested after an argument inside a vehicle turned violent and a female was shot. The victim then got out of the vehicle and the male drove away.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was arrested for shooting a woman on Hartley Bridge Road, according to a press release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident happened on December 12 at the Falls at Springs Creek.

According to the press release, Eric Daniels, was arrested after an argument inside a vehicle turned violent and a female was shot. The victim then got out of the vehicle and the male drove away.

Daniels was arrested at a nearby apartment complex and charged with aggravated assault-family violence, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment with a non-life threatening injury. The case remains under investigation.
