Dodge County falls short of GHSA Flag Football State Championship

EASTMAN, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – At Memorial Stadium, the Dodge County Lady Indians lost to the three-time defending State Champion Southeast Bulloch Lady Yellow Jackets 27-0 on Thursday night in the GHSA Semifinal round.

“This is not how we wanted the season to end, but we’ve got a great team” said Dodge County Head Coach Clint Sanders after the game. “We’re a little Single-A school playing with some bigger schools out here and these girls just fought hard, and they fought all season long. Just kind of hate to lose it like this, but we’ve just had a great season. Thank you.”
