29-year-old dead after crash in Dodge County, investigation underway
A trooper was dispatched on November 30 at 7:15 a.m. to a fatal crash on Georgia 165 near Yawn Lane in Dodge County.

DODGE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 29-year-old man is dead following a crash in Dodge County on Saturday, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
A trooper was dispatched at 7:15 a.m. on November 30 to a fatal crash on Georgia Highway 165 near Yawn Lane in Dodge County.
According to the media release, a Kia Cadenza was traveling south on Georgia 165 and was navigating a curve when the vehicle left the roadway to the left and struck a tree on the driver’s side.
The driver was identified as 29-year-old Jamarius Raekwon Black of Chauncey, Georgia. Black was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the total holiday fatality count for the state of Georgia is 17.
